Hello. My name is Ozell Powell Jr . I was born in Forest Home , Alabama.  The oldest of 3 brothers and one sister , my siblings and I were raised by both parents.  Later in my childhood we relocated to Pensacola , Florida .  I went to Woodham High school and graduated in 1988.  I enlisted in the U.S Army  shortly after graduating school where I served in the U.S. Army in Europe and the Gulf War.  Before I was honorably discharged, I would meet a beautiful young german lady who became my wife in 1991.  We have been married for 24 years .  We have  a son Raphael 22 and a daughter Sonja 19.  My family and I  currently live in Pensacola.  I later became a deputy Sheriff in 2001 , assigned as a patrol officer until I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2008.  I  was soon taken off of patrol and placed at the front desk until my resignation in 2013.  An avid writer , I  decided to make a career out of it .
